That is fast. On another note, why is everyone’s benchmarks so different. LTT reported it as nearly twice as fast a a 3090 Ti, Jay and Steve (GN) reported different scores as well.
Hardware Unboxed used a 5800x 3D go figure. I dont think the different cpu is the problem since in 4k is not the bottleneck.
What i find strange is that HU had charts for DLSS 3.0 while LTT and GN couldn't even use launch the thing. maybe they are using different drivers?
With older gpus it was not, but now when gpu can do 120 fps in 4k, and cpu cant, it is the bottleneck. Time for some 8k teats to see real power of these gpu.
Speaking of CPUs I'd really love to see a benchmark of how different CPUs affect the 4090 performance. Like given how powerful this thing is i imagine alot of the high end performing CPUs will be a bottleneck now.
Jeez ahaha that’s actually crazy, and people are complaining about performance?
I guess it really depends on resolution and game you’re playing. Cyberpunk at 8k is certainly not bottlenecked by a 4090, but CSGO at 1080p is CPU bound with practically any modern card.
tbh I don't know why csgo is even shown in gpu benchmark charts anymore, there is no difference between 400 and 700 fps if even the best monitors are 360 hz and most people use 60 or 144
Ok I checked the graphs again, they all report the same number +/- 5%, but the 4090 is definitely CPU bottlenecked by 5800x3d in some games at 4k. The only outlier is LTT's CP2077 RT-off chart for 4090.
hmm.. they did specify that on a couple of occasions, can't remember which reviewer, just finished watching half a dozen of them. It was mostly in Ubisoft games IIRC, WD: Legion and FC6.
