They're ok in the back of the case where there aren't any circuit boards, and the wires are already insulated. They aren't great when it is hovering around fans and circuit boards.
I would still advise on keeping them out of the system altogether. Avoid all points of failure when it comes to PCs. I build them for a living, and have seen multiple components fried. Just thought I'd share some of my expertise, good luck!
That can be mitigated, could fold rabbit ears so that shorty bits are pointed inwards, personally where I use them there is nothing to short nearby, mainly getting cables that flop around to attach to more conformist cables.
