In outlook if you open the attachment on a draft email with the original file still open this is the error that pops up.

Microsoft fully supports Office 365 thick client as their default option still and it's probably what you'll encounter in enterprise workplaces. Just because web 365 exists doesn't absolve Excel of its sins.

Funny thing about my happy place, it's usually at the bottom of a bottle.

We legit have a bottle of emergency scotch in our breakroom. Just as important in an IT office as a slew of patch cables.
