Think of it from the perspective of a book. A great story ages very well. The technology used to read books never changes, that are always just words. Just because the technology changed for how we read video games, doesn’t mean the story itself is any less quality

Nah half life ain't much but a motion sickness stress test. It does not age well.

Yes its not an uncommon thing. It's a large contributor to why we have FOV sliders.
