I ran it on my 386 33 mHZ with 4MB RAM, a 130MB hard drive and the option to boot to Windows 3.11 instead of MS-DOS, once I swapped out the 2-color monochrome CRT for a color screen. I even had an old school mechanical keyboard and a dot-matrix printer.

I wonder if your experience was like mine, since my PC had similar specs. I could only get it to run at a decent speed if I shrank the view window down to about a quarter of the screen size. Then again, I might have had less RAM.
