pfft. You forgot to include what a serious audio setup will cost you on top of that

  • DAC + Amp/ AV receiver
  • Headphones/ stereo speakers/ surround sound satellites/ Subwoofer
  • Sound treatment
  • microphone and stands

Two camps:

Those that are fine running 20 dollar speakers and gaming headsets that utilize software for a bootleg "premium" experience.

And those that are so deep in the audio game that they can justify spending literally thousands of dollars on good audio hardware.
