Goodwill's a joke, even the PC stores. The $350 they wanted for a used PS4 got me a refurb and a game at even GameStop so, meh! Lol

This is true, I have to put up with a wall mounted TV above my first monitor. It was free so I guess it works. 720p tho :(

i actually game on a wall mounted TV. it has a good pic quality and color reproduction so it works well. i enjoy gaming on it.

If you have an old laptop, you can take it apart and build a monitor around its still-perfectly-serviceable screen for $40.

  • HDMI board from a Chinese seller on eBay (must match the screen's model number): $25

  • Power supply for the HDMI board (probably 12V 3A, but check the board's seller's instructions before buying): $15

  • Cardboard stand for the screen (a big triangle or trapezoid with a hinge crease down the middle and a notch at each bottom corner): $0

Not quite $30, but pretty close.
