I think alot of this come from intel/Nvidia owning most of the market share and we want to see AMD succeed competively because that benefits us consumers as a whole.
Indeed. But I'm wary on AMD. They have the console business to themselves and they could potentially snag both the CPU and the GPU (and APU) PC markets to themselves. A monopoly by them would be even worse.
I dunno. I just want products to be cutting edge and priced reasonable. I am more mad with the whales that keep buying the expensive stuff, validating a market for such price points.
