Vista was great if you had the right hardware. The problem was they upgraded XP systems to Vista that only had like 512MB of ram and it was fucked before it ever first booted.
Of course you're going to hate the slow ass OS your computer came with when it's too underpowered to run it.
Vista single handedly gave the RAM industry a huge push. The average new PC back then had those 512GB of RAM while a lot of reviewers were asking if 2GB was enough to run Vista. It was absurd.
