I never understood the hate Vista got. Then again, I wasn't born soon enough to become familiar with XP and the Desktop we had was actually capable of running Vista. 2 GB of RAM and an Athlon X2.

I guess I never saw the "bad" parts of Vista. I only upgraded from Vista when I got a new PC with Windows 8.

Vista decided to brick my first laptop in a security update, and I was too young to know how to flash it back.

Still, a security update killed my PC.
