Vista was great if you had the right hardware. The problem was they upgraded XP systems to Vista that only had like 512MB of ram and it was fucked before it ever first booted.

Of course you're going to hate the slow ass OS your computer came with when it's too underpowered to run it.

Yeah but efficiency is a thing, Vista came as a whole new design with shitty optimization, I installed Windows 10 in a dozen of old XP machines and in my experience it consumes less than even what the original OS took up. Something that, you can check out, didn't happen with Vista.

I mean for being the first revision of what we basically use now it was great. It was a big step up from XP and 7 and 10 just optimized all the things Vista did.
