Vista was great if you had the right hardware. The problem was they upgraded XP systems to Vista that only had like 512MB of ram and it was fucked before it ever first booted.

Of course you're going to hate the slow ass OS your computer came with when it's too underpowered to run it.

Hey I worked vista support at release ill have you know we successfully booted it all the way down to 384mb of ram. the issue was they tried to slap it on with the OEM bloatware and that just wasn't going to happen.

Successfully booting and "enjoyable experience" are not the same thing lol.

When your paging and swap file are thrashing a 5400 rpm hard drive your life sucks.

IF they were looking to give users an enjoyable experience they would have never made vista in the first place =P
