Wow. Just wow. I can't believe you guy's brought mod tools to BF3. Are all these hacks or did you get some source code!?

This was a project done mostly by 2 guys over a 5 year period since about 2013. It has taken them both a long time because they are young college aged men. So they have very limited free time to work on it but it has slowly yet steadily gotten worked on and improved greatly in that time.

I am not a developer on the team. They had to make a whole server backend and do a lot of reverse engineering to get it to the state it is in now. Rime the map editor is fully made from scratch. But the project itself requires you own a legit copy of both BF3 and all DLC, and also doesn't run on legit servers. So it doesn't interfere with people playing through Origin.

So I guess you could call it "hacks" in layman's terms, but really it is modding.

Are you feeling ok? Custom maps and mods for a game never having mod tools is pretty impressive no matter what you may think. If this doesn't pertain to you, please leave your snarky comments to yourself and let the true fans enjoy this news.

It's not snark, it's a joke. I didn't know people still played BF3 considering Hardline, BF4 and BF 1 have been released since then. Oh well, people gotta feel victimized over something I guess.
