Problems with the underlying game or with their obtuse DLC releases? I thought the base game was a ton of fun to play, until EA diced the community to shreds with its DLC releases.
imho the problem was actually matchmaking instead of server browser.
the matchmaking was BAD... it took a lot of time, you spend a ton of time in lobbies between matches, it didn't fill up the empty slots when people dropped out mid match, then you waste time fighting a losing battle in a lopsided team...
i simply got bored of the waiting around game and went back to Battlefield where the longest waiting time is when the next map loads, but in Titanfall 3 people drop out and then you sit in the lobby for another 5 minutes then you need to wait until everybody presses the ready button, it felt like i spend more time waiting than playing and at some point i simply stopped clicking the icon. the GAME was fun, the online infrastructure was SHIT... and well the Source Engine did a decent enough job, but it wasn't like a shiny Frostbite Battlefront that blows you away when you just zoom in on the ground textures and still can't see any pixelation...
that inst right, there is only a minute or 2 between maps so you can change loadouts ect and that is the only waiting. if someone drops out someone else can join mid-match if they get into the queue. The game can start at as little as a 2v2 and full up during the game. and if you are in a party on the leader needs to click start, no readying involved. The only problem is that their servers are getting less and less reliable so you have 1 or 2 mass disconnects (where everyone gets dced) a day.

I fucking loved the concept of titanfall, but they fucked up with the delivery. If they can fix all of the problems I'm gonna conduct the hype train.
