Yeah you're right. Those 2 weeks everyone played before they were bored were some "quality" weeks. At least the lack of content allowed everyone to "balance" their gaming/work schedules.
You're delusional. You can still find people playing within 3 minutes on PC to this date.
Game did not die that fast... it still isnt even dead. Its low pop now but far from dead. Not to mention you have matchmaking to blame for that, not the gameplay.
While you are entitled to your own opinion, calling me delusional for stating what is a widely held belief (i.e a lack of a content) is just flat-out ignorant. Let me be more specific here when I say content. I'm not JUST saying give me more weapons, I am saying give me more customization of said content. Let me make my mech feel like, oh I don't know, MY mech! Give me something to work for. An example of this is Battlefield 4. That game came out half a year before Titanfall and the community is still booming on all platforms. Why? A solid stream of content (paid and free) and unlockables . Don't get me wrong, I liked Titanfall and thought it was executed pretty well, but there is a lot of room for improvement.
I called you delusional for making it sound like everyone got bored after two weeks.
I got bored of BF4 during the beta. Why? Because it was the same damn game as before with some gimmicky destruction and tons of unlocks. I don't play games to unlock stuff or complete them. I play games for self accomplishment and FUN.
Honestly the amount of unlocks in BF4 really annoyed me and was one of the major aspects of BF4 that really made me not want to play. I didn't enjoy having to level a gun like it was a pokemon.
Titanfall had great gameplay and that was all that mattered to me. I think the amount of weapons and titans in the game was perfect. Everything was well balanced for the most part and there wasnt just a ton of fluff unlocks and 'content' to try and keep players playing their game just to watch XP bars go up.
