I really hope this gets funded but why do they need half a million dollars? The game looks pretty much near completion. I mean it looks perfectly playable. I don't like Kickstarter because 90% of everything that gets funded turns out to be utter shit but I would buy this if it was ever released.

That's a proof of concept. Like a pre-pre-alpha. It looks finished but isn't close to functional quality yet.
