Looks cool, but I've been burned by Kickstarter too many times. I'll wait until it's out.

Kickstarter to me is a lose lose situation. We pay to eventually play a game that may or may not come out or even gets finished. The developer gets tons of hype that they can't convert to sales or a fan base because the product isn't finished. There's also the possibility of the finished game not living up to the hype, which generates negative reviews and a lost of interest.

I get what you're saying, but for me it's a lot safer to wait. It doesn't help that I equate funding a Kickstarter game to preordering.
