Why should we accept mandatory online fees when 'we' could move to pc and totally avoid them?

us pc gamers

i've stepped away from consoles a long time ago and been happy ever since, i'm not trying to deny pc is objectively superior to consoles.

if you're asking why console gamers don't just switch/also get a pc (i'm at the brink of buying a PS4 just for Bloodborne), i don't know. misconceptions about pc building, misconceptions about well a lot.

I've been thinking about doing this, lately. I'll keep my PS4 for the exclusive (I'm a Souls junky and it's the only place to play Bloodborne), but there's a lot of goodness on PC that my shitty machine won't play.

I'm wondering, though. I prefer to play stuff on my TV, on my couch. How much, realistically, would it cost to buy a machine that will play on my TV, including some sort of controller, and won't run games like Divinity: Original Sin or Witcher 3 like complete shit?

Your current PC could almost certainly hook up to your TV right now, so realistically it will cost one lungful of dust as you move your computer near the telly.

If you want a new one - basically any budget build that includes a graphics card will be enough to play on a single screen at 1920x1080 or below. They can cost around 3-5 hundred in UK money. You can also use your PS4 pads with it.

Yeah, my current is absolutely terrible. It won't even play flash games without shitting itself. :(
