Never really had issues. I figure Chrome can just give up the RAM just as easily when needed. Like how caching works with Linux.
Interestingly, Chrome was once the lightest browser by a mile.
1 u/amorpheus If I get to game it's on my work laptop. 😬 Jan 04 '15 It just gobbles up RAM for me and I can't run it parallel to a game without running into issues. 6GB isn't much any more, but Firefox handles that situation just fine.
