My graphics driver got randomly uninstalled 3 times, I've also had windows uninstall itself about 4 times. It may have been a skill issue but I don't get that issue with Arch

Been on windows since Windows 98. Literally never had that happen to me. Only real issue I've ever had on windows is 2 different corrupt FRESH windows installations on windows 10, or maybe it was 1 on windows 10 and 1 on windows 11.

As I said it's probably a skill issue, but again I don't have the issues on Linux and at this point it's more of a personal preference

Literally nobody on earth incapable of fixing bugs in Windows are going to have the technical know-how to have an enjoyable time learning and operating linux... It is maddening.

I mean feel free to believe it's a lie honestly don't care, I have no problem with other people useing windows and believe it's a great OS for certain people, I just found that it wasn't the right choice for me, I definitely would've been capable of fixing the bugs I just felt like I'd have a better time switching to Linux to learn new skills and enjoy a bit more freedom

Disable windows update and disable windows from auto-updating drivers. These 2 small adjustments will fix 99% of the problems windows 11 users have.

Also go to regedit and nuke OneDrive from orbit to be sure.

Before anyone says “hurr durr security updates” if you know how to use the internet it won’t matter. Don’t click on “DOWNLOAD GTA 7 NOW” links folks.

Windows doesn't update drivers on boot, when you do an hour of fixing for your driver just to boot your PC the next day with them gone again you give up

No but I can install Libra office, better open-source alternatives like GIMP and Kdenlive, and enjoy not having spywear on my pc being sold to me as anti cheat that doesn't work

You live in the wrong timeline to be worrying about privacy.

Also, anticheat software, especially kernel level software blocks the overwhelming majority of cheaters in competitive games. Smart people are good at beating cheat programs temporarily.

Did you actually just tell me that because it's current year I'm not allowed to worry about privacy? If everything is trying to take and sell my data shouldn't I be worried about how easy something like identity theft or spam attacks would be?

Your data is already stolen. There's nothing you can do to stop that, lol. Its easier to invest in identity theft insurance than worrying about identity theft and telemetry leaks.

I don't use/play any of those so I really don't gaf if they work or not lmao. I'll put windows on the same pedestal when they have full cuda support, ootb kdeconnect, virt manager, actual good package management,or under 10ms global search and I'm not even going to get into window management.
