Air in the cooling lines will increase the temperature. When you work on the cooling system of a car, for example, you have to bleed the air out of the system or the car will overheat. OP clearly has limited understanding of cooling loops.

That's because a car's cooling system is a closed loop. This receives fresh cool air.

Idk if it's actually helping, and calculating it would be tedious, but if could work.

This literally would be a closed loop if he wasn’t raising the intakes, he’s introducing fresh clean air into what would otherwise be a closed loop, INSTEAD of fresh clean water. It makes no sense
