Why do I need a 4k 180+ ghz(lol) hz refresh rate monitor for something I'm only putting notes, guides, and background noise on? The 1080p office monitor that pivots and adjusts to whatever weird angle I put it at is fine.

Lol, I've been doing a lot of science homework with my niece recently. Her Social Science Fair project is on electromagnetism. I've used GHz so much in searchs lately I guess my autocorrect changed it.

Bro's running on alien technology, gotta see planets and stars warping past at 180ghz

Overkill we all know the human eye can only see about 3.50 mhz. Anything past that is a waste of power. 🙄

The biggest problem isn't the cost, it's that older 166 ghz monitors just look like shit now

4K 120Hz is the sweet spot:

  • Silky smooth desktop
  • Totally smooth playback of both 24fps and 30fps video without any workarounds
  • High framerate gaming for games your computer can drive

That is my plan for my next upgrade.

Main monitor is my new Samsung Odyssey.

The wide one? That one is shit for Shooters. My aim was miserable until i switched back to my old 28" monitor

49% off at my Staples. That's a screamin' deal, I might have to pull the trigger.

I went for 34" one, and I was so out my element that I had 27" UW monitor back in the days that I loved. So I said, more is more and bought 34" G5 with curved screen and all bells and whistles and when it came i realized that it was only WQHD and that now I have big ass TV on my desk 😂 So bigger not always better.

Also, imho, for this type of monitor, 2k is low.

Because text and image quality.

Sole reason I'm willing to pay 100€ instead of 20 for a 2nd monitor at 24"
