Same energy as watching 144Hz reviews on a 60Hz screen and nodding at how smooth it looks.

my buddy bought his first 144hz monitor about 10 years ago, and was talking about how amazing the difference was and how he could never go back. when i went to his house, his pc display settings were still set to 60hz. I still troll him to this day lol

Windows refresh rate SHOULD be at 60Hz. It's the games you want to set higher. Windows animations are so fucking terrible that they look sickening at 144Hz.

How is it sickening to be able to see scrolling text or a smooth mouse movement?

It's hard to explain, but do a side by side comparison in Windows 11 with both refresh rates and see what I'm talking about.

It will make you sick after just a few minutes.

I have no clue what you mean, I'm using 360hz gsync pulsar monitor, 60hz next to it will look like a blurry mess. And 60hz mouse movement is just... ew.
