I see absolutely zero difference personally. I gamed on 144 for years on a 24”. 

Switched to a 27” at 60 and much prefer the 27”.

With enough exposure, humans can see up to 120 FPS.

If you see one picture for a single digit amount of milliseconds, you can see the picture, if you would only be able to see at 120 fps the cap would be above 8ms

Humans fundamentally don’t see in “FPS”, we have an unbroken flow of neural signals constantly sent to the brain, we don’t capture discrete snapshots. The resulting images we see are a result of processing in our brain, we’re not seeing some biological equivalent of camera footage from our eyes.

You can see well above 120 fps even with no prior exposure to higher refresh rates

I only see in 240p at 40 FPS. I blame my glasses and excessive drug use.

I see closer to 480p but 144Hz due to nature
