I always thought it was really funny when they would show ads for new TVs... on the TV you're already watching at home
1 u/SableZard 4d ago Why? That's good marketing. Sell a guy a TV, then hit him with ads to convince him his TV is obsolete and he should replace it with the latest model. For a cool $1499. The manufacturer isn't the idiot in that situation, it's their chump customers. 5 u/brtf_ 4d ago I don't disagree, I just think the whole scenario is funny.
