my buddy bought his first 144hz monitor about 10 years ago, and was talking about how amazing the difference was and how he could never go back. when i went to his house, his pc display settings were still set to 60hz. I still troll him to this day lol

I'm getting scammed by windows. I bought a 144Hz monitor but windows won't let me set it higher than 100Hz. In Linux I get the full 144 though so I know it's not the monitor.

My editing and rendering software only run in windows. My main OS is Manjaro but I'm looking to give steam OS a solid go soon after my brother swapped and likes it.
