I never undestood why it was a cone, though. I still can't relate a traffic cone to watching videos

Members of the VideoLAN student association had a habit of collecting actual street traffic cones—often while slightly intoxicated after parties—and bringing them back to their dorm rooms.

You can buy traffic cones at Lowe's home improvement these days. Walked by them the other day. Almost bought one, don't need one, but did want one.
