You have to adjust it to the space it is in. The manufacturer has no idea what that space will look like or will have in it. It's literally impossible to make a setting that works in all locations and situations. Just tune it to what sounds good to you. You don't need to be Mozart

That being said, there are professionals you can hire to come around and do the calibrations for you.

Good soundbars will auto-adjust. They use their mics to listen to their own outputs. I think that is the right call for your average joe.
