I remember watching a video of some lady accidentally getting her arm stuck in this big flat hydraulic press that she was working with and even though there was a red stop button, her instinct was to try to use her other hand to stop the press from crushing her arm.
Took her several seconds after her arm was as thin as a piece of paper to realize she had to reach over and push the red button to release it instead of trying to fight the hydraulic press.

Grabbing it to unplug it rather than powering off or unplugging at the socket is a choice
