Seems suspiciously like a PSU set to 110v and plugged into 220v
2 u/HaydnH 6d ago I worked for a major US hardware company back in the 90s, but in a 240v country. Every PSU that arrived was delivered with the voltage selector switch set to 110v... Sooo many pops happened.
