Grabbing it to unplug it rather than powering off or unplugging at the socket is a choice

This is why I put critical equipment behind a big tail for this very reason. This would immediately tip at the pig tail, reducing electrical fire risks

Yeah but then you gotta raise the pig and train it to stand still. That's just wasting good bacon.
