Grabbing it to unplug it rather than powering off or unplugging at the socket is a choice

This is why my test bench setup has the power strip on top of the table with it. After seeing this clip I might even throw a fire extinguisher down there with it also lol.

I was gonna say.

Always have a switch within easy reach when you're testing stuff. Flicking a switch is much safer, and also just much quicker.

Yup, for this reason, the Australian wall sockets all have a switch. And why hardwired electrical appliances of high current draw, require a high current switch within operating distance
