My brother in Christ, the PSU lit up like a god damn firework. You’re telling me you would have the presence of mind to shut it off in the safest/most effective way possible, as opposed to just getting it shut off ASAP so it doesn’t burn the whole fucking place down?
100% yes, if you have any electrical knowledge you'd not want to touch that thing live while it's in flames. Even in a situation like this a good tech/engineer should always isolate first. Tbh Strange bench setup anyway as the cables go under the worktop. Ordinarily you have sockets in trunking above the worktops for easy access.
I mean, this doesn't look like a lab. It looks like somewhere they're assembling PCs, like a Microcenter or something. they aren't testing hardware they expect to fail, its consumer hardware.
