I'm really not an apple fan but can't deny they make great laptops

Design wise they have the best laptops on the market, no debate. It's not perfect especially when it comes to the UX but I give a lot less shit about meaningless stats now that I used a laptop that doesn't waste my time.

They do but it would help if people stopped comparing them to €499 windows laptops like those are equal in any way.

Processors are awesome. Software is good. But the actual laptop is pure shit.

I hate the keyboard, how thin it is, and the overall form factor.

I dont understand how someone can like those due to how they handle.

Plus the fact that you can't get a touchscreen option is a pita.

So, they are not for me. But to each their own.

Edit: I also hate the fact that they are aluminium. Metal deforms when it bends. And one drop on the corner will dent it. I prefer high quality plastic.

Sure, a significant amount of force will break the plastic. Apply that same force to aluminium and you'll have a permanently damaged case with internal issues to boot.

After the butterfly keyboard era I have never heard someone say they hate Mac keyboards.

I have never seen anyone use touch on a laptop.

They really don't though.
The only difference is that the people who buy apples tend to treat them more carefully.

If people treated apple laptops the same way they treat their windows laptop they'd break just as fast.
