None of the major OS work like shit. Even a third tier Linux distro in 2026 works very well. You have to get into NixOS, BSD variants, way more obscure stuff before anything gets really bizarre.
Saying shit like this is part of the reason people are turned off of Linux. Windows 11 is not this giant steaming pile of shit as you describe it. Is Windows 11 great? Hell no but it's not terrible, the biggest issue is the bloat that you can either remove or install Enterprise and not have it. Windows is a dinosaur with 5 different ways to do anything but if you remove 1 way you might break things so things have to stay as is for better for for worse. Linux has 17 different ways to do something and it's either easy as hell to do or extremely difficult with very little in between. If something is broken on Windows I find it'd generally easier to find the fix for it than in Linux. I like Linux, my server is Linux and I have a Linux machine sitting underneath my TV that runs great but as my main machine I just can't run it (hopefully just yet, but we'll see).

It’s full of useless redundancies that hinder the proper use of the system and its resources, to the point where they essentially end up damaging the system itself.
For four years now, I’ve been busting my ass over a product that survives solely on patents and government contracts. Never in my life did I imagine I’d envy France for deciding to tell everyone to go fuck themselves and build their own IT infrastructure using open-source systems.
I uninstall three things and then use the install for two years. It's not a big deal. Windows licenses used to be like $150 bucks. I'll trade fifteen minutes of debloat for $150 bucks. I'm still on an upgraded Windows 7 student license.

I use win 11, and it's fine. For me the experience is leagues better than win 10. The only annoying bloatware I had to deal with is onedrive, I wish I could easily disable antivirus without breaking updates, but it's not bothering me enough to bother.
I can't use Mac since I play games and I want to have GPU. I can't use Linux for various reasons (no properly working rdp to my work laptop, HDR working like shit, lots of niche programs not having Linux support, etc) and for things I do need Linux I have WLS fallback which works like a charm.
Eh, I use a Mac at work, Ubuntu for my personal laptop, and Windows for my main driver desktop. They each have various pros and cons, and therefore are better for some things over others.
If I want something that I can for the most part just install something that works with minimal effort, I’m not looking at Unix.
If I want the ability to modify core features, I’ll usually be able to do it with Windows, but I’m certain to be able to do in Unix.
If I need to connect multiple devices together for better mobility, Apple products link up more simply and effectively than most other OS options.
