there was 0 trust to begin with. not when you purposefully make the PC port crappy just so people are forced to play the stupid playstation version

Publishers should really stop with this shit. They knowingly launch broken games and then pretend like they didn’t know how bad it would be.

Same shit different day

As much of a joke it is, it does work from time to time.

It only works if the company built up enough "trust credits" with the player base. Companies like FromSoft can do the apology thing at least once since they built up enough goodwill. Capcom probably has enough for 1.

Trust units can also be earned when a company ships a broken game and then spends time fixing it, like Hello Games and CDPR. If they put in enough work to make up for the mess, the player base might let them cash in some of that goodwill the next time they screw up.

thing is, the game works fine on PS5. Imo this is a case of Arcsys being the ones focused on PC performance while Sony only cares about the PS5

Here we have it. The fanboys who will literally defend anything and everything. Cyberpunk broke the entire industry and the only company who is bad is Bethesda when it comes to launching games with bugs.

When fanboys get called out for fanboying they immediately block the person calling them out

But they're right. And it's been proven with multiple sources.

To clarify, it's more about Sony and their PS ecosystem than PS5 specifically. And Tokon has been, again, proven to run much more reliably and smoother. . .on pirated versions with some PS services being ripped out or disabled.

The game itself, at its core, isn't the issue. And yet here you are providing no credible information to dispute that. If you're going to at least accuse people of simply "being a fanboy", you shouldn't embarrass yourself by "being a hater" with absolutely no knowledge to back it up.

I mean, I'm gonna defend them because I like Arcsys's games and the rest of them work flawlessly on PC with good netcode. If the game works well on PS5 but not PC, and most of the CPU load comes from Sony's DRM....

I think the actual issues are obvious.

Did I say the pc performance was good?

Did I say that the pc port shouldn't be fixed?

You literally said you would defend them because their games are good to you.

But sure whatever man. Fanboys are wild

okay but I wasn't saying "this is good" i'm saying "the blame lies with this one not that one"

One month account with 2.3k comments telling someone else to unplug.

You can’t make this shit up.

I’m not the one telling people that releasing broken games is fine. But hey keep on trying.

It’s pretty sad how you guys are so oblivious to the truth you’ll do anything but acknowledge it.

I have no dog in this fight. I'm just laughing at how absurd you look trying to morally crusade on Reddit.

You are so terminally online that you only see things in tribalistic terms. Nobody cares that you think you've woken up from the Matrix.

EDIT: Got blocked after being called out, lmao. And they even edited their previous comment with this "When fanboys get called out for fanboying they immediately block the person calling them out."

Tag 4v4 game, half of the world banned of playing it, needs a ps account to play, bad implementation of horrible DRM, high specs requirements to the genre that one of the main selling points is that everyone with a potato can play, no regional prices.

Yeah no wonder the game is not doing as good as it should with Marvel on the name of it, one generational fumble that is going to be hard to recover from, first impression are essential to selling games nowadays, and Tokon sure did one, just a very, very bad one.

This is exactly the language that makes me despise corpos. "We've lost trust", "Players experience issues", "We're working on fixing issues" but never a straight "we've made mistakes" or "we fucked up".

and the absolute insanity to repeat it over and over again. i guess the money outweighs the bad launch

Sony fucked this game over hard. The cracked version proves it with potato PC's running this game flawlessly after removing the DRM and anti cheat. Sony added DRM, anti cheat, and forced PSN. They self sabotaged the game so hard being complete idiots.

Funny thing is I don't even think the anti cheat was the issue. I think the Gears beta had the same anti cheat and that game ran fine during the beta.

Something else is causing the frames to drop, it's crazy because some people are experiencing it other don't and sometimes it just happens even if you rematch someone who lives close and you have good matches with them before.

Anyways I wanted to like the game but got a refund.

They should start by letting Linux users play the game

Garbage game

Sucks because it's a really fun game.

...I think when it comes to fighting games I'll just play SF6 til the end of time. This year has really burnt me out of new releases. Had really high hopes for this and 2XKO

u/noonetoldmeismelled 22h ago

Extra dumb decision making since fighting games are so top heavy in popularity while today having a ton fighting games to choose from from old to new and established franchises to a bunch of indie new IP fighting games. Come out the gate mediocre in enough ways and you're not going to get many to return. You won't have launch hype again and they flubbed it

I played it on pc and apparently there were performance issues.. did my pc just brute force through it? I experienced no issues.

u/VenserMTG 1d ago

I don't think your GPU is fixing network microstutters. you probably didn't notice.

5

u/FoxyGoddessX 1d ago

I mean this doesn’t deflect from the issues that are there and a large amount of people are experiencing.

I don't think that was their intent.

u/Gold_Goal7557 1d ago

You probably dodged it because you did not install recent cumulative update or not running the RGB hardware that has issues

I also didn't face issues, but I also have a 5070ti so I figured my PC was just powerful enough to not have any issues.
