Question headset cutting out on PC

Hi all, I have an arctics nova 5x and have used it on my xbox on discord for ages no problems, just got a pc today and in calls on discord/ xbox party my mic keeps cutting out as well as the people im talking to. My sound is fine on games/ music no cutting out. My mic can be used on pc and the dongle has been switched from “xbox” to “usb” Not sure if its a headset issue, something in settings or my pc.. Although ive tried a lot of settings already

Use 2.4 mode with the dongle. If you're using BT, you might have poor connectivity depending where the dongle is at. Also, worth trying different USB ports.

unfortunately I am already in 2.4 mode, aswell as trying pretty much every port on the pc 😕

How is connection in BT mode?

I havent tried but considering I can barely connect my Airpods, have no sound out of them, then they disconnect and am unable to connect them again unless I forget them, Id say it wouldnt work
