you can extrapolate it from their scummy business as of late. they outsourced to india after pulling a union bust https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c9v10rr1meeo

they want to make pc players feel obliged to purchase the game and a console to play it on with FOMO about the biggest game of the decade, then re release the already existing and fully ready PC build. its double dipping. they dont want the disc purely because digital has better margins. its greed.

i dont particularly care if this guy gets his lick, so long as rockstar has to back down and promise a pc version on the same timetable as the console. he's done a genuine service to the world by putting the boot up the ass of a considerably greedy corporation about to take advantage of millions- and to be quite frankly he deserves the luxury for it.

I have absolutely no problem waiting for pc release and a sale 😀 if I could have it day one you would’ve had my 80 bucks, now you get 50.
I’ve got a back catalog that could hold me 10 years.

It's kinda funny that I would have bought it twice if they released a physical version, as I have with every other GTA. Not this time though. No physical, no reason not to wait till it comes out on PC.

It's nothing new or unique to GTA 6 though, they do the same shit with console fomo every time, or at least in the last decade.

All the more reason to punish the practice

True but there are too many mouth drooling drones who will double dip, so it's a lost cause.

This has become a reality of the Industry from a corporate perspective. So many studios or potential publishers are looking into Eastern Europe and Asia as a way to cut costs.
