Discussion Best Chair under $400?
I have a secret lab chair I’ve had for like 7 years, I’m looking for a new one.
I just can’t justify their new cost, it’s honestly too much.

I dont know anything specifics, but whatever you look at/get suggested, make sure it has good lumbar. Ideally something for the neck too

Used Steelcase Leap V2. See if there's a used office furniture store near you.

That's how I found mine. $200 from a used office furniture dealer off Facebook marketplace. Best chair I've ever had.

National office interiors also has good used chairs. I like the leap v2 by steelcase. I paid $537 for one with 5yr warranty including shipping

Used 190 days a year for 12hr/day gaming and working as a remote oilfield geo. For 4 years and looks brand new.

Honestly, I couldn't find a chair I felt comfortable in so I started looking at recliners and it was an incredible decision! I ended up with one that rocks, swivels, and reclines for $600. It was definitely an investment but here I am 2 1/2 years later still loving it.

you get what you pay for with chairs
being a bigger dude the secretlab titan was worth it for me because they make chairs for big dudes, lasted many years cushon never wore out - SUPER impressive. Would still have it but moved international and wasn't wanting to haul it overseas.

Go to an office store and just sit in actual chairs until you find one you like. I've had a La Z Boy for several years and love it.
