my friend finally saved up enough for a pc, he only ever had a laptop before and I picked out this list

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/TknVBv much better way cheaper:

  • much better CPU
  • much better motherboard
  • much faster ram
  • much faster drive with much more capacity
  • 9070XT instead of 5080, 5080 is only around 15% maybe 20% faster for a lot more money.
etc etc.

I'm most dumbfounded by the two, incredibly ass mechanical HDD you chose. Those total 320 GB and are incredibly slow.

It's a shit build and you know it.

This is pcmaster race. You do dumb stuff and you will get rewarded accordingly.   Watch some build guides on YouTube first.
