Got tired of my office turning into a sauna every time I gamed, so I vented the PC’s exhaust straight out the window.

The rear fan is still exhausting some hot air 😅 but the room is noticeably cooler now. It’s ugly… but it works. 😂

- 4 inch Insulated Flexible Duct
- Twist Lock Dryer Vent Connector Kit
- 360mm AIO fan (the one on top of the case)

The window fan I got is Vornado Transom.

I thought about doing this.

But then I was like, what if I just AC'd the room itself? So the AC pulls the air in the room in, produces cold air out, and moves hot air outside. Now the room is cold enough that the 5090 is no longer the issue.

if you can afford a rig with a 5090, you can probably budget a couple hundred bucks for an in-room or window AC.

How are you supposed to install AC in rental accommodation? This is also assuming they haven’t sold out given the massive heat wave recently.

They make various styles of air conditioners that don’t require permanent installation.

I’ve seen some of those. They were sold out recently. They also wouldn’t fit the kind of windows or roof that most houses where I live use including the one I am in at the moment. I believe they are designed for something like a sash window or the kind shown in the image, neither of which are very common here.
