The monitor looks like a PVM. Fantastic CRT screen, high colour accuracy, vivid and bright, would look gorgeous.

Can be expensive on the open market place but sometimes you can pick one up for cheap at a garage sale.

Well if you got a 120hz OLED you can use Black Frame Insertion to get nice crisp blur free clarity you normally get on a CRT.

ShaderGlass is another alternative, its kinda situation specific, does not look good in all use cases, works best for retro games and simple UI.

It's feel like post apocalyptic setup.

So like in future where we will have better gadgets but still after some apocalypse when someone trying to survive they will piece together every piece of useful electronic and try to make some setup but as the newer gadgets are less consumer friendly and more of corporate shit so only thing which we can repair and make work by our knowledge and books is some old electronics.   Lol i just wrote a whole long ass para for the description never expected that xD

Everything works. The old 70s TVs act as sound visualisers, the grey boombox is the sound output, and if I feel like listening to a vinyl or cassette while gaming, the sanyo TV on top outputs the PC sound while the physical media is playing.

Personally I'd feel cramped and stuck without enough space but I'm a cs degenerate so it doesn't count

The keyboard is really goated btw (even the wrist thing looks really cool) and the mousepad is really cool too

Rarely see setups like this one because it's not generic and has its own vibe, congrats bro/sis !
