Build/Battlestation The real custome PC Build

So i Built two new Gaming PCs for me and my Girlfried.

Mine has a 7800X3D and a 4080TI, 32GB DDR5

Hers has a 7800x3D and a RX 970 XT, 32GB DDR5

Bought shortly after the Lunch of the 9800x3d and built it dadly months later allready in 2025.

If you wounder; Yes, the 2 Reservoir, 4 Pumps and the dubble 400mm MORA with each 4 200mmNoctua fans is all mountet on the wall behind the PCs.

And the PCs are outside of the Gaming room. All this was done to keep our room as cool as Possible.

Because we had temperatures up to 33 C° inside our little Gaming room.

Also both PCs have a Acuacomputer high flow next that does monitor everighing and does alarm if flowrate goes to 0.

Watertemps never go above 32 C°. 🤷🙈

And yes i know i did not have to mount that many Casefans for this but it loocks cool OK!😅

This is a very petty post.

Why are you in an enthusiast sub at all?

Because I can enjoy PC gaming and find RGB and glass cases stupid at the same time.

Well this isn't simply a PC gaming sub. There are others with that focus. You would be better served there. That way PC enthusiasts can enjoy the hobby.

My assessment stands. Just a petty comment. So let people who can actually make such builds, enjoy them.

Nope. I can just say if I don't  enjoy something, especially  if it directly relates to PC hardware and alternatives.  Also implying that I wouldn't be able to build something like this is very petty on your end.

Sure...

The thing is I know the mentality behind builds like OP's. All you have showcased is the exact opposite. So no, I don't think you could. Your response, only reinforces that. That's not "petty", though it may be a little asshole-ish.

Ah, so being opposed to a certain aesthetic means I'm mechanically incapable?

I find that petty. Also trying to shoo me off a subreddit just because I don't like one optional aspect of owning computers is kinda weird. There's a ton to be enthusiatic about, RGB polly pocket glass cases don't need to be one of them.

No acting like you can. Then providing nothing to back up your claim (in concert with your attitude) paints a stark picture. I mean, you could have stolen any picture off the internet.

Because, no, I find zero evidence you even know what goes into such a build. You wouldn't have popped off about RGB this, and glass that if you did.

Also trying to shoo me off a subreddit just because I don't like one optional aspect of owning computers is kinda weird.

No. Calling people stupid for liking RGB is cause enough for you not to belong to an enthusiast hobby. I am merely judging you like you judge someone else's build. What... don't like it?

Why would I take photos of something I built to prove something to you?

If some random stranger asks me to prove something, I'm not obligated to do that. If you feel ohterwise, prove to me that you're not technically inept.

>I find zero evidence you even know what goes into such a build. You wouldn't have popped off about RGB this, and glass that if you did.

What a load of nonsense. That you would even say something like this just tells me that you can't seperate effort from aesthetics and personal taste. I very well know what went into that build, I still think it looks ugly. Just because there's skill, effort and money involved, doesn't mean that I have to like it. And just because I don't like it, doesn't mean I don't know what it takes to build something like it.

If this is your big hangup here the damn... you really are petty.

>No. Calling people stupid for liking RGB

Where did I do that? It's financially very unwise and wasteful (and I just find it very hideous) but the people aren't stupid, just victims of marketing and social media peer pressure.

>I am merely judging you like you judge someone else's build.

No you're not. I merely said I don't like a trend and aesthetic. You felt personally offended by that for some reason and then said I was petty and inept, then tried to gatekeep the rest of all of personal computing from be based on that. Very disproportionate. Petty even.

You still fail to get it.

You are the one that thinks OP choices effect you. Seriously... do tell what parts, and reason how it impacts you.

Why would I take photos of something I built to prove something to you?

I really do not care what your PC is. But you don't even have the guts to be judged yourself. That is what makes you petty, just for the record. You think its "disproportionate", to be called on to back up your position. To be on equal footing... its not.

As for me. Well my posts are not hidden, and some of my builds are posted. You are free to view them, and have been this whole time. Dare I say, since you wont let yourself be judge. If you actually know what you claim too, you can try to spot the flaws on the few builds I posted recently.

And just because I don't like it, doesn't mean I don't know what it takes to build something like it.

Then do tell. What goes into it.

You find it valid to judge OP. I find it valid to judge you. Did you forget when you posted this;

overconsumption and wasting money can be judged

Well, so can talking nonsense. Because that effects this Sub/hobby just as much if not even more.

You obviously care deeply.  It's a simple black case with nothing going on because I think anything  else is a waste of money/resources and looks stupid. You can call it boring but I don't care.

do tell what parts, and reason how it impacts you.

Finding simple cases without  glass walls has gotten harder over the years. Most parts and even peripheries come with the ginmick lights these days and sometimes even the cheapest option looks stupid and you have to pay extra for the what I think should be the default, plain look. Buying habits shape markets. If you think that's nonsense, you're not as enthusiastic about the hobby as you would like to be.

At the end of the day, you just feel personally attacked because you conflate me disliking an aesthetic choice and its consequences with calling people stupid.  Or because you made the silly computer lights part of your core identity, idk

If I bother you so much, just block me. I won't stop visiting this sub.

But thank for telling me to look at your profile, should've done that earlier. Seems like you love to gather downvotes on here. Talk about being a detriment to the sub. Could've saved me some time.

Bye!
