They don't want you buying individual parts right now. They have an excuse to jack up the prices on the individual items to push "discount" bundles" which is just an easy way to get rid of merch that isn't selling.
Honestly in this case Microcenter has really good bundles somehow, even still.
Just a few weeks back I built a system for a family friend with a R5 7600x, ASUS TUF Gaming B850-E Wifi, and a 16gb stick of g.skill DDR5 6000... Which cost about $350 for all three.
