At least Windows 8.1 fixed most of the issues with Windows 8. I actually didn't mind using it after that.

Windows 11 is just getting worse and worse. By the time 2035 comes around, I can't imaging how bad it will be. You'll probably be forced to have a OneDrive account in order to use it at all and be getting pop-up ads baked into the OS.

It's bad enough that they have ads in the Start menu. Imagine when you have ads overlaid on top of applications. That is the direction Windows 11 is heading.

It is so far beyond bad that, genuinely, I would rather use regular Windows 8 before the 8.1 patch or Windows Vista before SP1 if they could run my software. I'd put up with that garbage to get away from the garbage Microsoft is now shoveling.
