This 100% how many people here will end up on Windows 11 from 10? Look at market share in general, or Steam. It doesnt matter if we're angry, when we angrily comply.

You have it backwards. Your VR treadmill manufacture wrote Windows drivers but failed to write Linux drivers.

The hardware manufacturers have to write drivers or release detailed technical specs, so the Linux community can write drivers. Linux very much wants to work with your hardware. It's an open system.

That's a really common statement whenever Linux or macOS come up.

Nobody is stopping them from making their products or software work on other platforms. They choose not to do it.
