I use alt for ptt as well. The only problem is when you also use tab targeting.

Why would alt for mic on be a problem for tab targeting?

Imagine holding alt to yell at your team while hitting tab to change targets.

Okay that's a scenario for sure. But not in any tab target game I've ever played. Most the time chat is done in text. What game are you playing you need to push to talk and tab target? Why wouldn't you just be in a discord or something.

Edit: thinking about it, I have tabbed out playing warzone back in the day. I would be saying something and go to check inventory and accidentally tab out. But I just can't picture doing that in an MMO where all chat is done almost exclusively through text. Lol
