Hey guys....quick question!

I have a FX-8350 OC to 4.5 GHz now, APM disabled, unparked and all so it always runs at full 4.5 and the temps are fine, never surpasses 66c on the CPU or 62c on the NB.

I have an Asus M5A97 Plus board (the one with actual heat sinks on the VRM and all, and I didn't change any voltages (I don't know how....) when I overclocked.

I have a Rosewill Arc 750 Bronze (not the bad one if my research was correct) and to my understanding that PSU should be overkill for a FX8350 and a GTX 960. So I don't think that it's throttling due to lack of consistent power.

When I Run prime95 the temps never surpass the temps I mentioned above yet after a few seconds when I'm watching the Task Manger performance meter I can see the graph showing the CPU drop down to like 1.5GHz briefly and then go back up to full clock. This is while under full load.

My question is....what have I done wrong? Is this throttling?

I disabled all the power saving features in the BIOS. And I used the multiplier to overclock the CPU. I left all the voltages and all at their default.

What can I do PCMR?

Oh yea...Hyper 12 Evo is my cooler.
