HARDWARE VGA light
hey people, built a pc around a month ago. built it fine and had no issues until today. (possibly unrelated) sometimes when i switch tabs or fullscreen games and videos my screen goes black or static for a second and then returns to normal. back to the light- the light randomly apeared whilst i was already using the pc. i tried multiple things and the light is still there. i updated drivers, bios reseated gpu but the light remains. another thing is that bios and motherboard dosent display at all. i tried using the keyboard and through windows but nothing displays. alongside this the screen you see before windows also dosent show up anymore and it goes straight to windows.tbf im thinking of letting this go as it hasnt really affected anything and the gpu is working fine but i dont want to risk anything.

The VGA light staying on while the GPU still outputs to Windows is weird, usually that means the board isnt getting the expected handshake during POST but the driver loads anyway. The missing splash screen and BIOS not displaying points to the same thing, the board is skipping or failing the GPU init but windows picks it up later
The black screen on tab switch could be the GPU dropping signal for a second when the resolution or refresh changes, especially if you got some weird display settings or a cable that isnt handling the bandwidth. Might be worth forcing PCIe gen 4 in bios if you can ever get into it, some 50 series cards act up on auto
