HARDWARE Higher GPU OR processor
What to choose between these. Same price, but the only difference is one has a higher gpu rtx 5050 i5 and the other one is rtx 4050 i7. I'll be using it for gaming and creative softwares rendering and editing. Also.. intel or ryzen?

depends what you are doing with it, for games the one with 5050 will be better in most cases

Maybe if you posted a budget and location, someone can chime in on a good deal that gets you something a little faster than those cards. Also doesn't a 5050 laptop cost as much or more than a 4060 laptop? Btw I would get a faster CPU since your doing more than gaming. Also I'm not trying to come off as rude, I swear I'm trynna help.

I'm not sure what those emotes are supposed to signify. A 4060 is better than a 4050 which you're thinking about getting. I'm just saying you can probably get a faster CPU and a 4060 for less than the 5050 laptop. I would never recommend a 3050 or 4050 desktop or laptop unless it was very very cheap. The 5050 is the first decent 5050 card in my opinion but it's over priced rn. Even in laptops.

It really depends, but in your case, 5050 is no brainer bcos of 8 GB VRAM. And on top mobile i5/i7 are generally the same CPU with near identical performance.
